Located in the historic region of La Axarquía, Nerja is a bright town on the Costa del Sol overlooking the sea with a beautiful maritime
façade made up of beaches, coves and cliffs.
Its historic center brings together beautiful examples of popular architecture, with beautiful walks and emblematic corners such as the Balcón de Europa, a splendid viewpoint over the sea.
Protected by the Sierra de la Almijara, it has an exceptional microclimate that allows it to spend the winter at an average temperature of 20º.
Between picturesque cliffs there are quiet coves and beaches of great natural beauty, such as Carabeo Beach, Burriana Beach, La Caleta, Cala Barranco de Maro or Calas del Pino. In all of them, in addition to being able to enjoy a refreshing swim, it is possible to practice any nautical modality, from windsurfing to sailing.
The beautiful mountain landscape of La Axarquía in Malaga, the white towns of Malaga and its steep coastline offer wonderful excursions through the Almijara Natural Park and cliffs of Maro Cerro Gordo or Frigiliana.
